In Ukhalelani, Toshi’s voice is a beautiful melody in a sea of a deep bass line enmeshed with pulsating African rhythms and strings. Her singing here immediately inspires one and awakens the slumbering soul in us. Her voice brings purity into our inner occult systems. Ukhalelani is a song that purifies the limited consciousness and brings to one universal harmony. When such a singer sings soulfully, she immediately makes the listener feel that he/she is immortal, or at least that he/she is going to stay on earth for many, many years. That is what Toshi brings to JERU The Album, Immortality.
